what the people say about go dog go!:
Go Dog Go! has been caring for our dogs for almost 10 years. From Dogs Day Out Adventures to Overnights when we are out of town, Go Dog Go! has been an amazing resource for our dogs and our family. Coming home after a long day at work and finding your big, energetic dog curled up on his/her dog bed snoozing after a day of hiking and playing in the mountains is a joy! Go Dog Go! provides an pooch experience that just can't be matched.
A few years ago, our family left the country for three weeks. At the time, our 12 year old lab Hopkins was aging rapidly and battling lymphoma. Lynn had known and cared for Hopkins for years. Our whole family would have struggled with the notion of going on our trip if we didn't feel so comfortable with the care provided by Go Dog Go! We knew Hopkins would be in the very best hands while we were away. Our family feels blessed to have found such a wonderful team to care for our dogs when we can't be there. - Kris Fraser/Jeff Goldstein We have been customers of Go Dog Go! and owner Lynn Steele for over a decade and our dogs (past and present) are like family to us (so we are very picky!) Both our dog and our family LOVE Lynn. Lynn and her colleagues are mature, warm, responsible and GET dogs (and the people needs too). It is the best feeling to leave town and know that our furry child is having the best time and is well taken care of. Whether for overnights or a day trip, it's like sending your dog to camp. Our boy goes crazy with joy and excitement when they pick him up for a day adventure in the foothills where he plays ball, roams free (off-leash), and hikes along a stream or river. This is not your typical dog sitting business - this is heaven for your dog - a true gift to our pooch. They are the best bargain in town. And by the way, we wouldn't have our second dog without Lynn who emailed us about a dog from another client who we then adopted and is the perfect match for our family. The intangible bonuses of being in the Go Dog Go Family!
-Sharon Cravitz Go Dog Go! has been a true game changer for the furry members of our family. We have a 3 year old rescued Brittany, and his energy level exceeded what we could readily alleviate (a 5 mile run would only briefly settle our super buoyant pooch). We knew Winston would love his Go Dog Go adventures, but the true surprise occurred when Lynn thought to take our 10 year old pointer on a day adventure. Daisy was a truly anxious animal: she was rescued from a messy shelter situation and harbored a desperate need for quiet and calm: though she enjoyed walks, she spent much of the day curled up peacefully in her dog bed, where she felt safe. We had never been able to board her because the stress was more than she could bear. To our astonishment, Daisy took an 'experimental' day trip, and we received a stream of photos and videos showing our normally petrified pointer leaping up and down paths and galavanting happily with other dogs. We were gobsmacked.
Cannot say enough about Lynn and her crew - they truly have a gift with dogs and we trust and appreciate them tremendously. -Nina Sohn I was so thrilled when I heard about Go Dog Go! I had sent my 2 Labradors to "day care" a few times but they didn't seem to like it very much (And who can blame them? It was just a big room with hard floors). Going to their "Mountain Day Camp", as I like to call it, they get fresh air, exercise and the opportunity to swim and hike and socialize and play - as much or as little as they want. Both Monte and Charley reached their ideal weight after about 2 months at camp, and they come home happy and tired, which makes me happy (and not tired). Lynn and her team are like second moms to our dogs; they LOVE their mountain adventure guides, who bring them so much love and so much joy.
-Sue Carrizales We are two busy working adults who share our home with an energetic 8-year old standard poodle named Willow. Our formula for a happy, healthy home-life with Willow most definitely includes Go Dog Go.
During the week, while we're at work, Willow goes on Go Dog Go! adventures, where she gets to run, play and explore the expansive great outdoors with a pack of 4-legged friends. In the evenings she's a tired and happy dog. When it's time for the two of us to go on vacation, Willow also goes on vacation. She stays with her "other family" at Go Dog Go. There's none of the guilt of boarding her in a cramped kennel and we know she's being cared for with the same loving attention that we provide at home. Lynn and the crew of Go Dog Go! are the very best of canine caretakers. They are knowledgeable, responsible and dedicated to caring for the physical, mental and emotional well being of dogs. According to Willow, even more importantly, Lynn is lots and lots of fun and gives great belly rubs. - Bonnie, Robert & Willow My 2 1/2 year old Border Collie, Izzy, goes on adventures once a week with Go Dog Go. I couldn't be happier! My high energy pup actually comes home tired. I know she gets the physical exercise she needs and the social interaction at the same time. She absolutely loves it! Lynn is so amazing with the dogs and great to work with too. I love that they come to my home to pick up Izzy for the day, that convenience factor is so nice. I would highly recommend checking out Go Dog Go, your dog will love it! We sure do!
